I had a great time photographing Atosa and Paul for their engagement shoot. They wanted their engagement shoot to have a city back drop and to be playful, so we went to the Santa Monica Pier for their shoot. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this weekend.
The Cubans know how to Party! Emely and Sean through a very lavish wedding at Casa del Mar in Santa Monica, the original details of the wedding were pulled together by the creative works of Rachel Hollis from Chic Events. The gorgeous dress that Emely wore was by Ines Di Santo, I just loved the beading on the top bodes. They brought in a Cuban band with bongo drums to keep the Cuban theme enhanced. I loved photographing their wedding, you could just tell by how relaxed they were that they were so in love and ready to get married.
I had a very exciting time shooting Nina and Neil on their engagement session. We started out at the Getty Villa in Malibu, where I was able to capture some great depth of field shots. After the Getty Villa we went down to the beach and found wooden logs, almost like old telephone poles sticking out of the sand. They gave the photos a fun rustic vibe.
Brenda and Oliver had a lovely, romantic, Argentine inspired wedding at the Hyatt in Huntington Beach. Their ceremony we held outside on the lawn and their reception was held in a gorgeous room that the Hyatt had never used for a reception before. Brenda wanted to surprise Oliver with a gift on their wedding day. She decided to get him a puppy and Oliver surprised Brenda with a picture he painted. Something that they didn’t air was the Argentina dancers Tori and Dean surprised the couple with. It was a beautiful event. Congratulations Brenda and Oliver!
